Finally, I updated Lithic Media and it now has a new design. The site is drupal based and uses the cck module to generate the portfolio nodes.

Once again, this year I went shopping on black friday. I had an interesting encounter with a cop on my way to Salisbury. It was 5:30AM, I did not have my license on me (I lost it a few weeks ago), I was driving approximately 70MPH, and I had a friend in the car (it's illegal in MD to drive with a non-family member in the car for the first 6 months). Surprisingly, the cop let me off with a warning.

So I'm a few days late for this post, but better late than never. I had a nice birthday. I spent the morning with my grandmother, following that I went with my friends to olive garden in salisbury. While eating, my friends attempted to convince me to allow the staff to sing happy birthday to me. After lunch we went to cold stone creamery. One of my friends left from cold stone since she had to work. The rest of us went to the mall and I did some light shopping getting two hoodies.

Overall it was a good birthday.

I've once again ported a theme from OSWD to drupal. Keeping the original name; it's called Purple_Beauty. Included below is a screenshot.

I've had some free time lately. I decided to port a theme from OSWD to drupal. It's called Greeny_Blu. I've included a screenshot below.

I've been skeptical of the Wii until last week. I didn't think that the technology Nintendo was using would be good enough to actually be usable. I've used both the PS3 and the xbox 360, and neither actually impressed me. It just seems like another game system with better graphics.

So I have a little bit of time and figured I'd update my blog. June 7 was the last day of school for my county. This year was extremely successful. I can now say that I am a senior after being a 9th grader for 3 years of my high school career.

Life has been treating me well recently. Things haven't gone perfectly; however they've gone quite well. Work has picked up quite a bit which is why I haven't been posting here much.

This past month I went to my Junior Prom. I enjoyed being there. Prior to Prom, myself and a group of friends went to they Hyatt for dinner. During after-prom, there was a giant twister game that I played, it was memorable considering the games lasted 20 minutes or so due to the competitive nature of teenagers. I'll post pictures soon.

I bought my WRT54G wireless/wired router about a week after I purchased my laptop in January 2006. The WRT54G had pretty good reviews, and I picked it up for around $40. It worked, problem is within the past year it has heated itself to malfunction after malfunction. I found when I was not using the wireless functionality of the router, it would work properly via wired connection. However, when I was connecting via the wireless connection, it would overheat and power off. I finally bought a new one through ebay. It's a Netgear WGM124 Pre-N router.

I found this video while reading through various blogs. It points out the fallacies in the current education systems of the US and the world. With my goal being to change the education options available to students, this video acts as another supporting part of my reasoning for these changes.
